The crash happened on Tuesday, Feb. 14 around 5 p.m. on I-84 eastbound just after the Exit 66 on-ramp, according to the Vernon Fire Department.
Upon arriving, first responders found the car heavily damaged and discovered that the driver had been able to escape from the wreckage with the help of good samaritans who had stopped to help.
The driver was evaluated by first responders and was found to have only suffered minor injuries.
Fire officials and police remained at the scene until the car was towed away and the debris was cleared.
